    Race Analysis

HEAVENLY SHADES (5) was far from disgraced to finish 1.4 lengths away in fourth last start over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. That followed a when resuming win at Pakenham. Finds the right race this time and can return to winning ways. DETROIT CITY (1) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when ninth, beaten 1.4 lengths, over 1m2 1/4f in the G2 Alister Clark Stakes at Moonee Valley. Has the talent to put the recent poor run behind him. LITTLEBIRDIE (6) broke her maiden six starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 1.5 lengths into second over 7f at Sale. Expected to run well again. FUTATSU (4) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 7f at Bendigo, beaten 4 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but she cannot be ruled out.
