MEGA MIC (3) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when prominent at the turn before winding up in third over 7f at Launceston, beaten 1.75 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. SPEED ROCK (8) was always well out of his ground when 45 lengths from the winner in ninth over 7f at Hobart last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Launceston the run before. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. BERSERKER (4) was out of the money when resuming but has since placed two on end and looks close to a win, the latest effort a third over 7f at Hobart. Jabez Johnstone stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Not to be discounted.
