MUIRFIELD (4) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 6f at this track in a tougher race. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. ADAMANA (9) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in fourth over 6f at Ballarat. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. THE SMASH FACTOR (6) was always well back when fresh from a lay-off last start and never really threatened when ninth over 6½f at Warrnambool. Definite improver with that run under his belt. OF THE VIEW (10) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start over 6½f at Swan Hill, beaten half a length. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
