NATURE BOY (2) got home by 2.5 lengths last time out over 1m3 1/4f at this track. Has six wins here. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Expected to be in the finish. WATERMELON (3) met with solid support last start over 1m2f at Gold Coast Poly when third, beaten 4 lengths. Will find this a little easier than last time. Will be hard to stop. SIR ZINO (12) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 6 lengths when ninth over 1m1f at Port Macquarie a week ago. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. SUN TOPAZE (5) turned in a modest performance when 14th last time out over 7½f at Port Macquarie, beaten 7 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
