AMANT FRANCAIS (6) recorded her first win last start over 5½f at this track, getting home by one length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely placed to double the win tally. ALTAI RANGER (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 10/01/2025, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths over 5½f at Launceston. Has switched to the John Heath stable. Comes here with definite top-three claims. INTISAR (3) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Launceston, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Well placed to make amends.
