LAMINAR (3) ran on strongly only to just miss when when resuming last start over 5f at Stony Creek. Will take a lot from that hitout. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. MAGIC LEPRECHAUN (1) was in the placings at his first two runs this campaign before breaking through over 6f at Wagga last time. Should be poised just off the lead. Winning claims on best figures. BALGOWAN (9) has been well held at her last couple, the latest in city grade when eighth in the Vobis Distaff at Caulfield. Well-placed in this easier company and deserves another chance.
