PANIGALE (3) has been freshened up since finishing seventh over 6f at Pakenham. Kept up to the mark with a recent Cranbourne trial placing. One of the contenders. SIOUX SPIRIT (5) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 5.5 lengths away in seventh over 5f at Caulfield Heath on November 28. Winner of her most recent trial. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Won't find this assignment as tough. One to consider. FAITHINHER (10) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Ballarat but raced below expectations last time over 5½f at Werribee, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths. Has her share of talent and can do a lot better.
