ARRAN BAY (1) knuckled down strongly to get within 1.4 lengths of the winner in third last start over 1m at Bendigo. Drops back in grade. Top chance in this field. AIR ASSAULT (2) raced on pace for much of the way before fading in the straight to finish tenth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f140yards here last time. Jason Holder who has seven wins when partnering stays on. Strips fitter and must be respected. TAHNEE TREASURE (9) finished fourth over 7f at Oakbank when resuming last start after strong market support, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
