SUPREME THUNDER (4) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 7f at Mt Gambier. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. This is a more suitable contest and he can play a major role. RUN AND TELL (1) gets out over more ground. On the back of some solid form of late, the most recent effort a third over 6f at streaky bay. Expected to cross from wide out. Expected to be in the finish. PENSLEY (11) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Mt Gambier, finishing fourth and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is sure to prove hard to beat. OAMARU POPPY (10) faded late last time over 7f at Mt Gambier after showing good early speed, eventually finishing fifth. Can feature in the finish.
