Looks well placed stepping out in trip. Should be in the finish again. ROMA AVENUE (9) is a distance specialist who missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 7 lengths away in ninth over 1m1f at Hawkesbury after being prominent at the corner. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. STATE OF AMERICA (4) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Randwick Kensington two starts back then scored by a nose last time out over 1m at Hawkesbury. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
