Tackling a more suitable race so she is one of the main contenders. COCO POP (8) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5f at Ballarat, scoring by a head. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely placed to double the win tally. LUCKY DUCK (2) turned in a modest performance when seventh last time out over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 4 lengths. That followed a win at Ballarat at the previous outing. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. LAMINAR (11) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Stony Creek but disappointed last time when tenth, beaten 4 lengths, at Kilmore over 6f. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
