    BAKERSBEND (2) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Should be getting home hard and is sure to be tough to beat. DARK SIMBA (6) is back after a break of four months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1m1f at Caulfield Heath. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Flemington. Ready to find winning form. BELLE FROM HELL (11) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 5½f at Murray Bridge to finish 0.8 lengths from the winner in third. Lightly raced filly who is starting to put it together now and she is right in the mix again. DARKBONEE (7) is a Palentino gelding from the stakes-winner Lake Sententia on debut. Looks ready after placing in a recent Ararat trial. Worth watching for a betting move.
