Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. BUCKEYE ROSE (8) was safely held when sixth last time out over 6f at Mahoning Valley, beaten 15 lengths. That followed a win at Mahoning Valley at the previous outing. Tackling a more suitable race so she can return to the winners' list. TWERK (3) fought on well for third last start over 6f at Mahoning Valley (Dirt), making it three minor placings in a row. Another big run expected. BAY MAGIC (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 9 lengths away in seventh over 6f at Mahoning Valley. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
