Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. NAVY PILOT (5) stepped out on his debut over 5f at Randwick Kensington three weeks ago and finished fifth, beaten 1.3 lengths. Capable of sharp improvement. I AM OVERS (8) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish third over 5½f at Gosford. Expected to feature with improvement to come. OHOPE (6) has been freshened since finishing seventh over 7f in the G2 VRC Sires' Produce Stakes at Flemington. Fitness level should be good following a subsequent Hawkesbury trial.
